With a new industrial design and enhanced functionality, the LMWS represents a major transformation in our current line of LMW2020 and LMW2030 marking workstations. The new and compact unit is designed for benchtop operations; manually operated vertical doors allow full, 180-degree access to the working area for parts and tools. A large viewing window allows visual monitoring of processes.
The LMWS is CE compliant and is a CDRH Class 1 laser marking workstation, with integrated fiber laser marker that includes a threaded, metric base plate for part positioning, as well as an automated z-axis for laser height adjustment. Rotary axes can be added as an option. It is suitable for R&D environments and low-volume production in various industries. As capacity or function increases, it is easy to transition to LMF markers, which can be applied to more automated systems. Applications include marking on metal, plastic and ceramic. The LMWS is also capable of cutting, drilling, ablating and welding thin materials.
